#2 & #3

I went for a run on a local bike/hike/walk trail that is quite close to my school. It is a dirt/gravel path about 8-10 feet wide surrounded by forrest and trees with a beautiful view of the bright blue sky filled with fluffy white clouds. There are two trails that you can follow that separate from the main path and wind around Erlangen. I did a little walk/run/sprint combo and got in some good exercise. I would like to try biking with John sometime but I have to get a bike first.

The second cool part about this trail is the enclosed area containing a crapload of wild hogs. I am dead serious. Off to the right of the path there area few small trails that lead to this huge fenced in area where there are probably no less than 50 hogs. They range in size from small baby hogs to giant (and I am talking the size of a small pony) scary looking hairy beasts. As soon as they saw me coming a group of 4 or 5 came running towards me squealing loudly. I think they were anticipating food because people often feed them (apparently they like uncooked pasta??), but I had nothing so they quickly lost interest in me. I think one was trying to engage in a sexual act with another one. They were quite interesting. I brought my camera to take photos but wouldn't you know it...the battery was dead, so I couldn't even get one shot. I have to go back again and get a video because the sound effects definitely add to the humor!
