Is it weird that I feel bad for the housekeeping staff who have to clean up after us? I feel like I have to do a preliminary cleaning so they can come in and do their job. We have so much stuff packed into the room sometimes I am afraid they will not be able to locate the floor in order to vacuum it!
Lots of laundry to do today.
I am also starting to realize that I was way too enamored by the heat of Portland when we left and did not at all think ahead to the (very chilly) fall weather that we are now getting. I have two pairs of long pants for work and two long sleeved shirts. That needs to last me until the end of September. Think anyone at the school will notice that I keep wearing the same outfits over and over? Oh wait, lots of Germans do that (without even washing the clothes in between wears)....I guess I am good to go!
