A Few Pics

I haven't been posting too many pics lately, so here is a random bunch.

My loving husband brought me back some treats from New York. An excellent supply of our favorite Orange Orbit gum, The Time Traveler's Wife, and the new operating system for my MacBook called Snow Leopard (not really sure what it does, but it's cool!) Isn't he thoughful!?

Barbara #2 put a temporary sticker on our new mailbox just in case we get any mail. Even though it's temporary, it makes it official!

I am so happy with my new rice cooker/steamer because we have reintroduced vegetables into our diet (finally!). I got some spaetzle at the grocery store which came with some veges in it, but I julienned some carrots and steamed them to add some fresh vegetable as well.

A side of soft, fresh bread and voila!

Tomorrow I am going to make some rice with broccoli and carrots and I think we'll try to get one of the roasted chickens from the chicken guy to go with it. There is a guy that sells roasted whole chickens and half chickens from a cart outside the grocery store. There is a similar guy who sells his chickens outsid the OBI store, so we'll have to see whose chickens are better!
