I just completed my first lesson with Rosetta Stone. Not bad. I got above 90% on all of the activities. Mostly higher than 95% actually. Better than I can say for the driving test...
The program is based on the idea that complete immersion is the best way to learn a new language so everything is entirely in German. There are reading, writing, speaking, and listening activities and it doesn't seem that hard. I can understand the words being spoken which is absolutely not true for real life situations, but I guess that will come in time.
Now the big test will be to see how much of that lesson I actually retain!
It's funny though, how you can pick up on language rules without actually being explicitly taught.
Whew. I'm beat!

Did you pass your driving test the second time?
Yeah! I actually think I remember more of the Rosetta Stone (because it kinda sticks in your head like a song) than what I learned in Deutsch class.
