We had some awesome weather in Portland today so Grace was able to try out one of her cute summer outfits that Grandma Sandy bought for her.

We went to Salt and Straw this afternoon where they make homemade ice cream and waffle cones. I wish I had a picture of the awesomeness that we ate, but I was too caught up in eating it that I forgot. John got vanilla and sea salt with caramel and I got chocolate with brownie chunks and sea salt with caramel. Yum! I don't think we'll be needing dinner for awhile!

Grace napped in the sling while we were there and didn't wake up until about 6 o'clock so we took her upstairs and tried to tire her out! Her neck strength is getting better so John tried her out in the Bumbo chair. Considering she is still technically too young to be in it, she did a good job holding her head up for the minute or so she was in it. I am looking forward to when she can sit in that for a longer time to hang with me while I cook!

She is getting better at (tolerating) tummy time now and we can tell that she is going to take OFF when she starts crawling because she is already moving those little legs and sliding them around. 

Since John was away for a week he is in charge of bedtime tonight. Grace loves when Daddy gives her a bottle before bed.
