2 Months

Our little baby girl is two months old today! We began the day by celebrating with a photo shoot, but I was not able to procure a big smile from Miss Grace. Don't get me wrong, she smiles a lot now, but just not when I am poised with iPhone in hand ready to snap a picture of her adorableness. I took her pictures bright and early because we had an appointment with the pediatrician this morning at 9:40 and she had to get some shots, so I knew she wouldn't be in the mood for photos when we got back.

Grace woke up from a nap when we arrived at the pediatrician's office and she was quite a happy girl. She was all smiles and coos while she got measured and weighed so Dr. Nava could see just how delightful and smart she is. 

Current Stats:

Weight: 11 pounds 1 ounce

Head Circumference: 15 inches

Height: 23 1/2 inches

Then came the shots....

Not so much fun...

Miss Grace cried like I have never heard her cry before, but I gave her a bottle and she fell asleep shortly after. She slept for several hours when we got home, but woke up hungry and quite indignant about the residual pain in her legs from the shots. 

Screaming commenced...

...and crying...both her and me....

I finally got her to settle back down and she fell asleep on our bed.

She was much happier after that nap and didn't seem to be in much pain after her long rest with mommy on the bed.
