Today was my dissertation proposal defense at Portland State! 

Grace took a nice little cat nap while I loaded the car with all of our gear.

We wore coordinating black and white dresses for this very special occasion!

Such a serious baby face!

Jill met me at PSU so she could watch Grace while I did my presentation. She is a very good baby, but I needed to make sure I was free of distractions so I could do my best work. 

My presentation went very well, but the questions afterward were pretty challenging.

 Luckily...I passed which means I officially advance to doctoral candidacy!
