Movies

We went to Nürnberg today to a movie theater called the Roxy to see New Moon. It is one of the theaters that shows movies in English. It was a pretty small theater, but had all of the important ammenities: popcorn, candy, soda, beer, and comfy seats. We expected it to be really crowded so we showed up really early. It didn't end up being that crowded at all--probably no more than 30 people in the whole theater, but we got to enjoy a nice scenic walk while we waited for them to open the theater.

We also had a nice quick lunch at Burger King which was less than wonderful. I was searching for some kind of grilled chicken as opposed to fried chicken and all I saw was grilled chicken strips with dipping sauce. It ended up being three tiny pieces of grilled chicken like the kind that would be added to a salad and the dipping sauce was nowhere to be seen. Luckily my husband is nice and he shares. :0)
We also passed by Toy R Us and Babies R Us on the way to lunch. We seem to surround ourselves with American-ness! Movies in English, Burger King, and Toys R us!

Snapped a few pics at the theater even though my photography seems to embarrass John a bit. I just want to share all of fun with everyone back home!

That sounded like fun. We saw New Moon on Thanksgiving. I liked how they have the same concessions, plus beer!

My daughter and I are dying to see that movie. Our theater here maybe once a month play English version. Did you like the movie?
