Ta-da!
Looks like we need some curtains or something to spice it up a bit!
Overall I am really pleased with how it came out. Considering we had absolutely nothing to do with picking it out, I think it goes pretty well with my taste and the rest of our decor. The dark wood on the outside of the cabinet goes well with other pieces we have in the living room.
Our landlord stopped by twice to make sure everything was going okay. He is the sweetest man and kept checking to make sure I liked it and that I was happy with everything. He doesn't speak a ton of English, and neither did any of the three guys who installed the kitchen, but he tried really hard to make sure I understood what was going on and the information they gave me about the oven and the fridge. I am completely at a loss when people are speaking German, really, I get nothing, so I was very happy that he was extra helpful and kind in making sure I knew what was going on. What a nice man.
We ended up not getting a freezer. Not even a small one, so we have to think about whether or not we can live without one. Since we only have one table, and we put it in the "dining" area, we still have quite a bit of room in the kitchen on the two walls opposite the cabinets. If we really need a freezer or extra fridge space we can make some additions.
I am having a cookie baking party with some friends tomorrow to celebrate the new kitchen!
My friend got me some chocolate chips when she was in England, so once I obtain the rest of the ingredients, I am good to go!

Thanks for the invite, Katie! I love your red coat. Have a blast cookie baking. Mmm! That's the perfect way to break in a new kitchen - especially the chocolate chips.
