More Cali

Ahh. Finally my paper revisions are done, so I can do something besides that while Grace is napping. So my activities today while she napped included 1. napping for two hours myself 2. cleaning the house and getting laundry done and 3. updating the blog!

 Margaret and I took Grace on a stroll hoping she would sleep but she didn't want to stay in the stroller. I took her out and carried her, but it was too bright out, so she got to wear some of mommy's accessories. John said she looked like Carlos from The Hangover...

Yesterday I had my dissertation seminar class and both John and Jill are out of town. Luckily my group is really welcoming of Grace and they are fine with it if she comes along with me. That being said, I wasn't sure how FIVE hours of class was going to play out with a baby in tow, especially since it was my turn to facilitate the class with another member of my cohort. 

She was SO good for the entire time. It was amazing. 

 She was a champion napper in the sling and napped twice during class
