Catching Up

I can't believe it's July already! 

That means Grace is almost THREE months old! 

Wow time flies! Stay tuned for her three month photos. 

Last Tuesday was my birthday so Jill and I met for lunch and coffee and then hit up Pioneer Square Mall for some birthday shopping. JCrew was having a great sale (an additional 30% items already on sale) and JCrew also offers a 15% discount to teachers which I was able to get on top of the other discounts. I was in need of some new summer stuff to fit my post baby body, so we had some fun picking out some nice things. Then Jill stayed with Grace so John and I could have a nice birthday dinner at Clyde Common sans baby girl. Grace slept through our whole shopping excursion...she'll learn to love shopping eventually!

Grace has been changing a lot lately and is definitely getting more vocal and developing physically. Some friends of ours gave us a Jumparoo which we just started putting her in and she loves it. It took her a few times to figure it out but now that she has the hang of it she rocks it out when she's in there. She is still a bit to small/light, so we had to get creative....

Eventually she'll be able to touch the ground without the books, but for now she needs a little boost.

She is very talkative when she's in here, giggling and cooing and screaming (for joy!), but whenever I try to get a video of it, she is quieter and won't smile for the camera!!

Grace has also been working on sitting in the Bumbo chair, but we use a file folder behind her since she's not quite strong enough on her own yet. On this particular occasion she was not loving it. Usually she is very happy to sit in it for awhile.
