10 months, 11 months...where has the time gone?

I realized I never posted Grace's 10 month photos, so I have some catching up to do!

And from earlier this week, her 11 month pics...

Grace has 8 teeth now, she still LOVES to eat (finally loves avocado), and she is on the go all the time. She graduated from army crawling and can now do a regular crawl. She also likes to stand and cruises around grabbing onto various things to help her balance and "walk" around. She can stand all on her own, but she doesn't really realize she can. We are guessing she may be a walker before she turns 1.

First visit to the Oregon Zoo on Saturday!

Exploring the grass in our yard

Grace loves to brush her teeth with her banana toothbrush

And she has become really good at playing basketball in the tub.

Her favorite toy recently is her ball popper that Uncle Dan, Aunt Shari, and her cousins got her for Christmas. She has so much fun getting the balls that pop out and putting them back in.

She doesn't really like to wear her sunglasses, but she will tolerate them for a few seconds to look like "cool baby." She does a little dance when she wears them too.

Grace loves daycare and has so much fun with her friends. She loves Ms. Nay and her other teachers and they us compliments because Grace is so independent.

Curious George is still her very favorite friend and she sleeps with him every night. She enjoys all her stuff animals and loves to give them hugs.

She has also started offering her paci and her bottle to George. She is good at sharing. She also likes to offer her (sometimes already chewed) food to mom and dad when she's eating.

Grace can say mama, dada, ba ba (bottle), ball, bye bye, baby (she calls George her baby), and Hi. She waves and says hi to people, but sometimes she hides her head and plays shy.  She also points to what she wants and can point out George, kitties, daddy, and Jill in books/photos.

She is getting pretty good at understanding what we say and will put her paci in her crib when it's time to go play upstairs.

Her other hobbies include playing ball with daddy, pulling all her clothes out of her laundry basket, climbing the stairs (that's new as of yesterday), reading her books, and making barking sounds (ruff ruff) any time she sees a dog when we go on walks.

We think she is pretty awesome and adore her. It's hard to believe she is almost going to be a year old! Where did the time go?
