It has been too long since I've posted on here, but life gets pretty busy when you move and have a tiny baby to take care of...
We moved out of our apartment last Thursday and are officially back in our house on Boston Avenue. Although there has been a lot of unpacking and organizing, it feels amazing to be back in our home and to have more space!
Margaret has been here helping us since last Wednesday and has been busting her butt doing all sorts of things to make life easier for me. She is a champion motivator, sorter, unpacker, organizer, dust buster, cleaner, laundress, meal preparer, and baby holder. John came over the weekend to meet Grace and help out as well, but left on Sunday as he has college students to inspire during the week.
Grace's nursery is all set up and I think tonight will be her first official night of sleeping in her crib. She has done a few naps in it, but it's time to go big and try it out for the whole night.
Her room is the only room that I have really taken photos of, so I will have to go through the house and get some pics of some of the new features. The upstairs is looking awesome and it's a great room for me to get work done in and for Grace to nap in or play in when she gets bigger. My wall to wall bookshelves are dreamy and I feel like I am well on my way to being Dr. Toppel when I sit in my office space.
Grace is almost 1 month old and is doing really well. She is definitely getting bigger and cuter every day. She is eating well and sleeping well and we adore her. She wakes up about twice each night to eat at this point--usually around 1:30 or 2 am and between 5 and 6:30 am. She is starting to have more awake time during the day and to be more alert. She loves bath time and John thinks she is going to love the water--maybe a swimmer like Grandma Margaret?
