Weekend Walking

Over the weekend we had some fantastic weather with lots of sun. I decided to make use of the nice trails we have close to our apartment and enjoyed a nice hour and a half long walk. I brought my camera along because I figured it would be nice to take some pictures of the signs of spring that are popping up. Yesterday was filled with torrential downpours so I am really missing that nice weekend weather!

 At the entrance to the trail through the forest, there is a stand with fresh fruit and vegetables. Spargel is asparagus and it's coming into season here. Often I see a thicker white asparagus which is considered to be really special here.

I passed this huge pile of dirt. I wonder what it's for?
