Ireland Highlights

We're Baaack!
We got in last night after a glorious 8 days in Ireland. We had such a great time and realized we definitely preferred the quiet, picturesque countryside over the hustle and bustle of the city. We enjoyed Dublin, but after seeing Cork and Dingle on our driving tour, we were not really thrilled with Galway. We ended up staying one night in Galway and booking a B&B in Doolin so we could enjoy some more of the serene beauty that Ireland has to offer instead of the city. We added a visit to the Cliffs of Moher and then headed back to Dublin for one last night before heading home.

Our favorite part of the trip was walking around in Dingle and then driving around the Dingle Peninsula the following day. We saw so much and loved every minute. Driving on those crazy, curvy, one lane dirt roads was definitely interesting, but it allowed us to see what Ireland is all about. The farms, ocean, mountains, and Burren were all beautiful! We really lucked out with weather and saw sun almost everyday while we were there. It rained a few times, but mostly when we were driving, so we stayed dry. The B&B's we stayed at were wonderful and comfortable and we were very well fed!

I took so many photos (over 200!), but here are a few highlights of our trip...
