Home for the Holidays

I can't believe that one week from today, John and I will be in Connecticut with my family! We are so excited to spend the holidays with both of our families this year which is the first time we will have both sets of parents together since our wedding! His parents are joining us for Christmas Eve and Christmas. It will also be our niece's first Christmas and John is meeting her for the very first time, so we are pumped up for a fantastic Christmas!

How cute is that little face??!!

We are starting to compile a list of things we need to do, buy, and most importantly eat while we are home in the states and it's getting longer and longer. I sure hope we are able to make it through customs on our way home without being stopped.

I will be bringing back:

a Costco sized bag of chocolate chips

baking powder

yeast

meringue powder (for royal icing)

fabric for the quilt Lucinda is going to teach me to make

deodorant

soap

taco seasoning

and probably a lot more!
